Reviews
This was a disappointment. The images are mostly the lithographic posters from Mucha's Paris period, not paintings. and includes drawings and even sculptures. The cover is a 1920 Oil titled 'Fate' 53.5 x 51.5 cm and is in the Mucha Museum in Prague. This has no description or explanation of the symbolism or pan-Slavic roots. A glass peacock encircled with hearts containing the light source for the painting. Fates right hand raised in surrender or benediction. Mucha believed in fate and how it had guided his own life. Just web scrapings not a book.
