I took a beginning guitar class in college; this is the book they recommended and was used during the lessons. This book is easy to read and was much to my benefit because I am a visual learner the pictures make sense. I recommend this book to anyone starting out with guitar lessons. This book makes it easy enough to learn on your own, very well written.
